MOBILE ROBOT SOLUTIONS
Smart Warehouse
Vehicles designed to meet various warehouse operational needs in a “goods-to-person” mode and for automated in-plant logistics distribution.
Overview
Given the high labor costs, low management efficiency, and high order error rates in traditional warehouses, Robomove has developed an intelligent robotic storage system to provide a smart solution for improving the logistics efficiency of industrial warehouses.
Applications
Suitable for multi-item storage management and small-order sorting needs, the solution can be applied in: e-commerce sorting centers, production raw material warehouses, finished goods warehouses, 3C manufacturing, and the tobacco, medical, apparel, food, automotive, and many other industries.

Case Study 1:
DHL Express
As the largest international express transshipment hub in the Asia-Pacific region, the DHL Shanghai North Asia Hub handles an average of 120,000 items per day. To meet the demand for efficiency driven by increased business volume and resolve labor-to-goods issues, DHL Express has introduced the intelligent storage solution from our partner Hikrobot.
Solution
To provide accurate international express service to customers, the Shanghai hub in Asia introduced the Hikrobot smart storage solution. Mobile robots work in conjunction with RCS and the intelligent iWMS. Through this integrated solution, rapid queries, unmanned operations, and digital process management are enabled.
Customer Benefits
- Reduction in workforce and labor costs
- 33% improvement in operational efficiency
- 40% better space utilization: reduces goods stacking and clutter on the site
- Intelligent warehouse management: simplifies searching and statistical management
Case Study 2:
FAW-Volkswagen
The Foshan plant is FAW-Volkswagen’s fourth facility in China, covering approximately 1.66 million square meters. It is currently FAW-Volkswagen’s production base with the largest number of models on a single production line. During peak periods, 2,400 cars are produced daily, involving tens of thousands of components. To manage complex picking tasks and improve efficiency and accuracy, a mobile robot solution was introduced.
Solution
The intelligent logistics system adopted at the Foshan plant is complex, integrating FAW-Volkswagen’s FIS and PLP, Hikrobot’s RCS and iWMS, along with 47 LMRs. It is the first “Supermarket 2.0” solution in the automotive industry, making factory-level collaborative intelligent logistics a reality.
Customer Benefits
- Manual labor reduced by 30%.
- Increased efficiency and accuracy: 100% accuracy in warehouse outbound operations and 100% on-time component supply between production lines
- Real-time exchange of warehouse information
- Less repetitive planning work: supports dynamic inventory allocation and intelligent load balancing
